Behind the scenes…

Our doors are closed for the next few weeks, but behind the scenes we have theatre companies and artists creating new work. This week our artist in residence Dan Colley is developing Lossless, an experimental theatre piece which explores dementia, memory and performance.  For the rest of August our regular collaborators Theatre Lovett are back,  putting the final touches to a brand new work for young audiences – more details will be revealed soon! 

Our Box Office will reopen on Monday, 30th August at 9:30am. Some highlights from our Autumn programme of LIVE events including The Esposito Quartet (10th September), MUSIC NETWORK: Iarla Ó Lionáird, Úna Monaghan & Kevin Murphy (11th September), Douglas Stuart & Elaine Feeney in conversation (12th September) and Cassiopeia Winds (13th October) are currently on sale online. 

Our McKenna Gallery will reopen on 1st September with Quarantine Project by Patricio Cassinoni with Nyree Yergainharsian – 70 photos in 70 days, made entirely at home while in lockdown during a global pandemic. Quarantine Project is a time capsule from one of the most unique periods of recent history.
