Introducing the MOMENTUM AWARD – Riverbank Arts Centre’s Artist Bursary and Residency Programme 2020

What is it?
Riverbank Arts Centre invites applications from professional artists and creative practitioners to take part in a new artist support programme.  The five professional artists and creatives selected will be awarded a cash bursary (€2,000), support-in-kind and a working space (studio/venue space if required) and the option to take part in an activity or sharing event in Autumn 2020

Who can apply?
MOMENTUM is open to all professional artists and creatives based in Ireland including – but not limited to –  musicians, theatre artists and practitioners, film makers, writers, visual artists, dance artists, sound/lighting/set designers. This bursary is designed for individual artists, however joint applications will be considered if your artistic practice is a collaborative one.

How will the MOMENTUM artists/practitioners be chosen?
A panel including two external arts professionals will assess the applications. Priority will be given to artists/practitioners who have a specific plan that can be supported by our resources at Riverbank Arts Centre.  The five recipients will be contacted directly before 1st October, 2020. The residency and bursary process can begin immediately (subject to the required space being available), or any time before the week of 14th December 2020.
