As part of their Creative Ireland programme, Kildare County Council is holding a training event for Festivals on Saturday 9th December 2017 in Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge, Co Kildare from 9.30am to 2pm.
This training will be delivered by the AOIFE (Association of Irish Festival Events) and will include event planning, logistics, PR and marketing. Attendees can also book a one-to-one 15 minute session on getting the best out of Social Media. Please note that we can only allocate one attendee space per festival at the morning session.
Attendance is free of charge, but booking is essential. Please call Riverbank Box Office on (045) 448 327 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, on or before Tuesday 5th December 2017 indicating the number of attendees and the festival you represent.
In the afternoon, one-to-one to one mentoring with individual festivals will be available. These slots are 30 minutes in duration. Up to three members from any one festival can attend these. If you are interested in being considered for one of these sessions, please indicate at the time of booking. Selected festivals will be expected to submit information in advance and identify areas that they wish to deal with in these sessions.
Festivals who intend applying to Kildare County Council for grant aid in the future are encouraged to attend this free training. #CreativeIrl
