Inni-K online concert – Thursday 26th March

In place of her planned gig at Riverbank, Kildare singer-songwriter Inni-K is livestreaming a concert tonight (26th March, 9pm) from her Facebook account

Singer, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Inni-K is a force to watch. Her transcendent voice, set off with tight musicianship and captivating stage presence; create for her audience an atmosphere which is both uplifting and spine tingling.

Inni-K’s music draws on her extensive background in folk and traditional Irish music, even as she ventures into new musical territories. Her music combines ethereal vocals with deft musicianship, evocative lyrics (bilingual at times), and a unique approach to song-writing.

Named by RTÉ.ie as “one of ten fierce women defining Irish culture”, and nominated for RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards 2019, Inni-K (Eithne Ní Chatháin) has received consistent praise for her fresh style of indie-folk since the 2015 release of her debut album The King has Two Horse’s Earsand her exquisite highly acclaimed second album ‘The Hare & the Line’ which was released in 2019. Inni-K has shared stages & opened for Lisa Hannigan, Glen Hansard, Liam Ó Maonlaí, This is how we fly, Wallis Bird, Efterklang, Toumani Diabate & many more.

She has been touring extensively at home & abroad in the past year & we’re looking forward to having her back at Riverbank soon – but meanwhile tune in to the online concert tonight – she’s even taking special requests!
