Touch and Trace is a sensory focused workshop inspired by the Kildare Art Collective exhibition Touch. Led by Artist Marta Golubowska, this immersive, thought provoking workshop invites participants to explore touch as a tool for creative expression.

With a focus on awareness of texture, form and the intuitive act of making, participants will work with their eyes covered, exploring the imprints made in clay using various tactile objects.  By pressing, tracing, and feeling their way through the medium, participants will focus on how touch shapes their creative expression. The resulting impressions will be cast in plaster relief, preserving the traces of the experience.

This workshop offers an opportunity to connect with materials and creativity through the language of touch.  All materials are provided but please remember to wear old clothes and bring along some interesting small objects to work with.
