‘Tales of the unseen’ is an irresistibly charming double bill that brings together the works of award winning circus companies ‘Riuchi’ and ‘Squarehead Productions’: Two very different pieces on the same evening, one immersing the audience in an old asian tale, the other creating quirky abstract narratives in a minimal setting.
What both shows have in common is the play with live special effects: while Riuchi uses varying components from classic magic techniques, to body effects and new technology, Squarehead Productions creates the illusion of time travel, glitches, déjà vu and stop motion effects by making the audience open and close their eyes.

These skillfully performed pieces take the audience on a journey through imaginary realms and create poetic science fiction on stage.
