While having a day-long swim at Athens’ queer beach, Demosthenes offers to help his aspiring filmmaker friend Nikitas with an idea for his feature debut, inspired by the events surrounding a certain overly cute dog named Carmen…who belonged to Demosthenes’s ex-lover Panos.

Imagining their lives as a film brings the two face-to-face with the pending conflicts in their colourful friendship.

As our dynamic duo dives into writing their masterpiece, the story bounces between past and present. But beneath all the laughs and chaos, there’s a joyous exploration of what it means to be a modern gay man – from dating dilemmas to the pressure of fitting into society’s neat little boxes. This is a sharp, sexy, sun-drenched comedy.
