Irish-Dutch guitarist Patrick stefan returns to Riverbank, presenting the debut of a new audio-visual piece that weaves live improvised guitar playing to bird song recorded by Ornithologist Sean Ronayne, drawing connections between the musical path of migrating birds, stories of emigration, and to Patrick’s own time spent in Mali.

This performance also features a bespoke interactive digital visual canvas created by artist Keelin Sutcliffe. This marks the end of Patrick’s Navigator Jazz Residency at Riverbank, delivered in association with Improvised Music Company.

Hailing from Co. Clare, Patrick stefan has written, performed and collaborated across multiple genres, and in 2022 released his debut alt-indie-folk album Wayfare.
