Eimear Crehan is a songwriter based in Kildare and has been performing in the Irish Music Scene for over 12 years now. In that time her sound has really developed, having moved through lots of genres like funk, soul, gospel and rock. It is only now that her sound has found its true home, with its feet in soul and its body in the story-telling aspect of folk.
Eimear loves beautiful melodies, powerful stories, and delicate instrumentation. She brings audiences on a journey, connecting to her listeners, relating to them, and telling them stories through song. This intimate gig will feature songs from her first solo album ‘Scars’ as well as her second album ‘Quiver’ which is due for release this November. She can’t wait to share this beautiful night with you all, celebrating as we move into recovery from the pandemic, welcoming the return of one of the most important part of concerts – the audience.
Eimear Crehan is one of the recipients of the Riverbank Arts Centre Music Bursary 2021.
Support Act on the night will be singer/Songwriter Zoe Clarke
