Rosán Sensory Adventures, led by creative sensory artist and educator Phillida Eves, make accessible, immersive, musical, movement and theatrical experiences with and for children and young people with additional needs.
Rosán is passionate about giving the audience a voice in the creative process, agency in expressing themselves through the creative arts, and putting them at the heart of the collaborative process. Our model of developing shows and creative experiences in this way, makes our work very accessible and allows us to adapt for inclusive mainstream school and family audiences.
This workshop, created for teachers, artists and carers (guardians/parents/staff) explores how sensory techniques and immersive methods can help to create meaningful engagement and enhance communication with young people of all abilities. The workshop is 90 minutes in length and includes immersion in the set of our current sensory show, Antarctica!
