Theatre-maker and educator Anna Newell has designed workshops for people in a leadership role in Early Years education. Presented by Riverbank Arts Centre in association with Kildare County Childcare Committee, these interactive workshops aim to create a fun and collaborative environment to encourage creative problem solving.

LEGO SERIOUS PLAY

Building your world, one brick at a time…

The LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methodology (LSP) is a facilitated thinking, communication and problem solving technique for use with organisations, teams and individuals. It draws on extensive research from the fields of business, organisational development, psychology and learning which shows that this kind of hands-on, minds-on learning produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the world and its possibilities. LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is designed to create insight and awareness and transform it into commitment and shared goals, enhancing innovation and business performance.

Although this is a virtual workshop, it’ll also be hands-on and participants will receive their very own LSP Starter Kit to use during the workshop. The cost of the LEGO and postage is included in the workshop fee above.

This workshop will be conducted online (on ZOOM platform) and will be 2 hours in duration. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wicklow-based Anna Newell has been making theatre adventures for people of all ages to watch and to take part in since 1989 – in theatres of all sizes, in a disused police station, in a shopping centre, on a barge, in a sonic lab, in a hydropool and in a secret apartment – in various cities in the UK and Ireland and also in the US, South Africa and Bosnia. She created the world’s first BabyDay, introduced theatre for children and young people with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) into Ireland and helped start baby theatre in South Africa.   Her work for Early Years audiences has been seen on six continents.  Her shows are informed and inspired by her audience at every stage of their creation and have human connection at their very heart.  https://www.annanewell.co.uk/
