In a rare German-language performance, Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds, Disorder) plays In the Fade’s Katja, a woman struggling with the deaths of her husband Nuri and son Rocco in a terrorist bomb attack. Katja’s search for justice, and with it the hope for relief from the over-whelming grief she is experiencing, brings her on a journey that tips her over the edge and ultimately leaves her looking for revenge.
The new film from acclaimed German director Fatih Akin (Head-On, The Edge of Heaven) is a timely story, which picked up the Best Actress accolade for Kruger at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, as well as the award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2018 Golden Globes.
