AYT Kildare Presents Borderlands
Wednesday 28th January, 2026 - 20:00

“You’ve never really… spoke to me about anything like this before.”
Borderlands is a new play that explores the beauty, uncertainty, and potential of adolescence. Set in the shifting space between who we once were and who we are becoming, Borderlands invites audiences on a journey filled with moments of self-discovery, sparks of transformation, and the exhilarating uncertainty of growing up. Developed collaboratively by AYT’s senior ensemble, with support from playwright Áine Ryan and creative technologist Martin O’Leary, Borderlands blends movement, text, and digital media to explore youth, identity and transformation. This performance is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland’s Young Ensembles Scheme.
