Culture Night 2023

Culture Night returns to Riverbank Arts Centre for an evening of free events! Now in its 18th year, Culture Night, which is directed by The Arts Council, “is a national moment, celebrating all that makes up the richness and diversity of Culture in Ireland today, connecting people to cultural activities locally and nationally and aims to open up pathways to ongoing engagement.” (from Culture Night website)

So come along to Riverbank Arts Centre and help us celebrate!

Cześć, fáilte isteach, bem-vindo! Join us for a series of listening parties- where a story meets a creative workshop. We will listen to stories and make our own together. These events are a part of the Super Paua Stories audio installation in our Children’s Gallery.

5:30pm – Klosz Listening Party- We will start with a bilingual listening party for Polish and English speakers, exploring characters from famous Polish fairy tales. You will need to speak/understand Polish to take part.

6:30pm – Niamh’s Nuacht Listening Party – We will continue by creating our own bizarre news reports inspired by a story as Gaeilge. Everyone with cúpla focail welcome!

7:30pm – Todos A Bordo! Listening Party – Finally, everyone is welcome to join us for a dance audio story all the way from São Paulo, Brazil. We will listen and dance our way through the story, exploring how we can tell stories with our bodies.
