Once again Riverbank Arts Centre is pleased to be part of the national celebration of the arts for Culture Night 2015. This is the 9th annual Culture Night, having grown from humble beginnings in 2006.
This year we are hosting two very special events. The first, The Prince who married a Frog: Storytelling with Simone Schuemmelfeder, takes place at 6.30pm and is especially for the younger members of the family (ages: 4-8 year-olds).
Then at 8pm we are screening 20,000 Days On Earth, which marked Nick Cave’s 20,000th day on earth.
Both events are free but are strictly limited.
What is Culture Night?
Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. This year, it will take place on Friday 18th September 2015. On Culture Night, arts and cultural organisations and venues of all shapes and sizes, including the National Cultural Institutions, extend their opening hours to allow for increased access to the public. Special and unique events and workshops are specifically programmed at participating locations and everything is available free of charge.
