PAID TWO-DAY AUDITION RESIDENCY WITH ANNA NEWELL THEATRE ADVENTURES

For the last few years, Anna Newell have toured high quality shows for audiences of babies under 1 year and shows for children with complex needs to venues, community centres and schools across Ireland for between 25-30 weeks a year thanks to ongoing generous support from the Arts Council of Ireland.
As co-producers, we are running an audition residency with the company to expand their pool of potential performers. This is a paid opportunity.
The residency will take the form of 2 days in a special school working with Anna exploring creating shows with children and young people with complex needs. This residency will take place in November 2025 – dates tbc.
They are looking for professional performers who:
- in this instance, live within commuting distance of Dublin/Bray
- who have substantial harmony singing experience
- who have a desire to work in the responsive connective way in which Anna’s shows engage with her audience.
An all-inclusive fee of €500 covers both the two intensive days and a half day travelling to Riverbank Arts Centre (Newbridge) to show documents necessary for the mandatory Garda Vetting process.
Applicants are asked to fill out this form, upload a CV, a short written or video statement about why they’d like to be part of this and a short video of singing.
