Newbridge artist Dan Shanahan will work with children on making collages with recycled materials, magazines, newspapers and food packaging.  During the camp the participants will explore collage design and composition as well as some drawing and illustrating techniques. They will be recycling, re-editing and re-using  – making sustainable art!

Suitable for ages 7-10 years, these five workshops will take place on ZOOM, 10:30am-11:30am over the course of a week. Further details and a list of required materials will be provided when you book.  If you have any questions, please email info@riverbank.ie

On completion selected creations will be presented in Riverbank Arts Centre outdoor poster boxes.   

About the Artist:
Dan Shanahan is a multimedia artist and a 4th Year Fine Art Media and Education student at NCAD Dublin.  He works with traditional and experimental film photography, stop-motion animation and graphic design.  His recent work is a play on hand made and digital collage, emphasising on recycling and reusing materials
