An exhibition by Johnny Tierney

Following an open studio in the McKenna Gallery in May 2025, self-taught artist Johnny Tierney returns with his first solo exhibition – Studio 2: Making My Mark.

Step inside the artist’s studio and learn more about Johnny and his practice:
“My name is Johnny Tierney and I am an artist. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and expect that I will be for as long as I live. I never have been to art school. I just started to draw and never stopped. This is my very first solo exhibition. A very proud moment in my life and I am delighted for this opportunity to bring my work forward for you to see. However, this is not just an exhibition but a chance to come and spend time with me in my working studio and maybe splash some paint on a canvas if you desire. Or just come to hang out for a while.. hope to see you there.”

Official opening Thursday 8 January, 6pm. All welcome
