Join us for two relaxed and paced online creative writing workshops designed to support people with Long Covid (as well as other isolating health conditions such as ME/CFS). No writing experience necessary – just a pen, paper and willingness to participate.

For the January workshop you will need your phone with a photo of something/somewhere in nature that you love, and for the February workshop have a picture of something small you have spotted in nature.

The workshops will be paced for brain fog and aims to help with concentration, to spark joy and create connections. A firefly moment of recovery. If on the day you are having a dip, please feel free to join from bed and just listen.

Sessions are designed and run by poet Nell Regan, who is herself in recovery from Long Covid.

Session two is designed as a follow on to session one, however, it is not necessary to sign up to both.

Please note that this is an online workshop, participants will need a stable internet connection and device to access ZOOM

This event is part of Riverbank’s programme for First Fortnight 2026.
