Join visual artist Martina McDonald for an evening of mark-making with mixed media. In this fun workshop participants will be encouraged to experiment and play with art materials such as paint, pastels, chalks, markers and more.

The practice of mark making is simple, fun and process focussed. Martina will guide participants through a range of group activities creating different marks and textures on paper. This workshop is for anybody looking to get creative, especially designed for beginners. Participants are reminded that this is a messy workshop, bring an apron if you can.

About the Artist
Martina McDonald is a visual artist based in Clane, Co. Kildare. Having graduated with a BA Hons Degree from NCAD Fine Art Sculpture in 2009, Martina has been in the creative realm for over 16 years. She has exhibited artwork both nationally and internationally. Created through an intuitive, mark making process, Martina creates tactile, mixed media works that draw the viewer in with colour, layering and a sense of playfulness.
