Join local artist Johnny Tierney for this workshop which invites participants to respond creatively to a live musical performance.

Participants will be guided through a series of artistic exercises to the music of Bach, which will be followed by an open musical improvisation for freestyle art-making. No experience necessary, just a willingness to be creative!

The workshop will be facilitated by Johnny and fellow artist Martina McDonald, along with cellist Matt Rafter. All materials are provided, although participants can bring their own materials if desired.

Studio 2: Making My Mark, an exhibition by Johnny Tierney will run in the McKenna Gallery from Thursday 8-Saturday 17 January, admission free.
