Welcome to Highly Strung’s Solstice Soiree.

For fans of the foursome, this evening is a tradition not to be missed as the four friends return to Riverbank for their annual Christmas show of classics old and new.

Hallmarking the spirit of the season for their audiences, the mellow blend of seasonal favourites casts a little starlight on the darkest time of the year. With an acoustic blend of voice (Angela O’Toole), flute (Jeanette Behan), violin (Lisa Lazenby) and harp (Mary Keenan), the group’s quirky arrangements continue to delight audiences of all ages.

This year’s show, compered by the incomparable Caroline Malone, will feature songs and stories of hope, humour and joy in a celebration of life as the season turns towards brighter days. Given his warm reception at last year’s show, the ladies are delighted to be joined once again by the very talented Mark Trundle.
