Blame Game Physical Performance In-School Workshops

An introduction to different parkour, movement and acrobatics activities led in a fun and accessible way by team members Louise-Anne Wong and Alessio Motta of circus and dance collective Kundle Cru (performing as part of international show Blame Game at Riverbank Arts Centre on Friday 17 October, 7pm.
Suitable for Transition Year students who have some interest in performance/theatre/dance/circus or physical sports such as gymnastics, parkour, running, skateboarding.
Duration: 45 mins
Time: Morning or Afternoon – x2 workshops available
15-20 students per workshop

Facilitators
Alessio Motta is an Italian born circus artist living in Portugal. Alessio’s key disciplines are Chinese Pole and Dance-Acro. He attended the circus course at Scuola di Cirko Vertigo before studying his degree at DOCH University of Dance and Circus. Alessio currently teaches circus at INAC (Instituto Nacional de Artes do Circo) and previously Sundbyberg Kulturskola, Stockholm and is an experienced workshop leader.
Louiseanne Wong is a movement artist, choreographer and coach with Esprit Concrete. Born in Hong Kong, they studied music and dance in HK, UK and LA. Fusing dance, circus, parkour and l’art du deplacement they map themself in space, searching for authentic connections with themselves and audiences. They have a wide understanding of the body in both athletic and artistic contexts.
