Touch is the first sense we develop, it’s how we connect, explore and understand. It anchors us in the world.

In this exhibition members of Kildare Art Collective explore ‘touch’ in all of its forms, physical, emotional, symbolic.

Each artwork in this exhibition is tactile and designed to be physically touched, encouraging direct engagement and interaction.

As part of this exhibition there will be an audio tour and artwork information will be available in braille, ensuring that touch becomes a shared experience across different sensory perspectives.

Artist Marta Golubowska will host an Touch and Trace Workshop for adults on Saturday 14 June – more information available here.

Official opening Saturday 31 May, 6pm. All welcome.

Touch features the work of Olga Anacka, Caoimhe McGuckin, Holly Delaney, Bethan Hodgson, Peter Slyman, Gavin Casey, Kirsten Hodgson, Claire Murphy, Fergus Smith, Niamh Hynan, Derek Finn, Eamonn Farrell, Marta Golubowska, Mark Butler and Johnny Tierney.
