Join visual artist Niamh Hynan for an evening of abstracting the landscape. In this workshop you will be encouraged to create your own landscape painting.
The practice of gestural abstract painting is energetic and engaging. Niamh will guide you through methods of creating gestural marks and forms that will capture the essence of your landscape. Colour will be an important part of the finished piece.
Participants are invited to bring a photograph of a landscape (1 or 2) they would like to use for this workshop. Please wear suitable clothing/apron as this is a painting workshop.
