SCHOOLS: POLAR BEAR & PENGUIN (online)

Thursday 27th January, 2022 - 09:00 - Friday 25th February, 2022 - 15:00

A new play for Young Audiences by Paul Curley & John Currivan.

The tale of an unlikely encounter between a Polar Bear and a Penguin. This is the story of polar opposite characters meeting for the first time, how they get to know one another and ultimately how they learn to survive in a world that is melting beneath their feet…paws…flippers.

Paul Curley (THE DIG and Bake!) and John Currivan (The Bockety World of Henry & Bucket), bring this quirky new theatre play for young audiences to life. International director Ian Cameron joins the team along with designer Ger Clancy & Sarah Jane Shiels and composer Denis Clohessy.

Polar Bear & Penguin is a tale of our time, infused with Humour, Fish and Friendship.

This online version will be available to stream to classrooms in February 2022.  Schools can book to receive access to the filmed production for a full week and receive access to educational resource pack.

Supported by Draíocht, Blanchardstown and The Arts Council YPCE Project Award.
