Indigo, features a cast of 22, is a remarkably moving tribute to Ireland in the wake of the marriage Equality referendum. The piece was first staged at Scotland’s National Youth Theatre festival in July, and can now be seen for the first time locally.

It became the third Kildare Youth Theatre production to be selected by the National Theatre on Britain for performance in London’s South Bank. This much-talked-about show has left audiences extremely moved, and has won plaudits and awards this year. It features a cast of ten, playing a group of teenage cancer patients in a city hospital, who navigate their way through friendship, betrayal and mortality in exceptionally strong performances. This is the final chance for Irish audiences to see this production, directed by Peter Hussey.
