Luka Bloom has been described as an Irish folk Legend. The Newbridge Troubadour, one time Barry Moore, has been recording and touring ,worldwide, for over forty years now. A still fresh faced, Luka Bloom relishes the process of making music with his exquisitely produced and arranged , thought provoking acoustic songs, sung with heart and soul. Recently moved to North Clare to enjoy the beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way Luka Bloom has his roots firmly in County Kildare.

He is delighted to perform a concert for KARE, of which his mother was a member and voluntary worker in the early days.

All proceeds of the concert go to KARE, celebrating 50 years since its foundation in 1967.
