Once There Was a Boy Who Was Afraid of Blue

A Story Writing Workshop with Roisin Meaney
Sat 22nd May 2:30pm
Price:
€10 (Suitable for 10 to 13 year olds)

Let’s get creative. Leave your old ideas at the door and discover how to write stories that people will love to read. Bring your imagination, some courage and a love of words – oh, and a pen and notebook will come in handy too. No one will be laughed at, but we’ll have fun. See you there… Roisin Meaney was born in Listowel. In 2001 she took a career break from teaching and travelled to San Francisco to write her first novel, The Daisy Picker, which won the Tivoli ‘Write a Bestseller’ competition. To date she’s written six adult novels and two children’s books, and her writing has been translated into German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. (Suitable for 10 to 13 year olds)
