Flatpack Living
Modern living means a lot of moving. From School, to work, to college we are all busy moving to and from different spaces.
This workshop with artist Laura Fitzgerald explores the idea of different houses, rooms and spaces through drawing, model making and learning how to make simple light circuits, creating interesting lighting effects in the paper models.
During this five day workshop, using paper drawing tools and simple circuits, participants will learn how to make interesting images and three dimensional shapes from memory, based around ideas of the house and home. They will learn how to make simple electrical circuits and will be add lights to their finished pieces.
Each participant will be required to bring in an image of their own home.
No previous art making experience is necessary for this workshop.
This 5-Day workshop runs from 10am to 2pm daily.
