Valentines

This year’s Valentine’s delves a little deeper.  Rachel is a girl in need of a date for Valentine’s – her idiot ex-boyfriend is playing on her mind.

Rachel:  I told him he wasn’t allowed break up with me on Valentine’s, Christmas – his birthday or my birthday.  He could never follow a simple instruction!
So after some very unhelpful help from Liam & Maeve – her two compatriots, she sets out on her journey to find what all this stuff is about.  Why the plastic hearts everywhere?  Why the cards?  Why the flowers?  Why the effort?  Why is this love stuff necessary?
Maeve:
If it’s just for repopulation then it’s a bit much isn’t it?
Another multi-layered viciously hilarious comedy this is a must for anyone looking for anything to do during Valentine’s – even if you don’t have a date!

Last year’s Frank & Catherine by Crossfire Theatre’s director and writer Eoin Gannongave an overall hilarious view of relationships that we see people in.

Thank you to Kildare County Council,  Newbridge Drama Group & City Arts (http://www.cityarts.ie/) for their kind support on this production.
