After a short but quite successful run at Riverbank Arts Centre last April with the hilarious Wonder of the World by David Lindsay-Abaire, Crossfire Theatre are onto their next project...

Frank & Catherine is an original play by local playwright/director Eoin Gannon.  This is the first 100% original production by his company: Crossfire Theatre!

It is a commentary on every day things

The different types of relationships that we see our friends in.

The reason why everyone seems to be plugged in on the bus/train.

The Potential possibilities that are always fleeting by us every second of every day.

Life!

Frank, played by the award winning actor Patrick O’Donnell (best actor (male) Jameson International Film Festival), is just having a very frustrating day and is thinking things that he probably shouldn’t be thinking – but that’s okay – it’s only thinking.

Catherine, brought wonderfully to life by the intrepid traveling actor from ‘The Big Smoke’- Aine Lane, is a typical college student – full of the joys and insecurities of this stage of her life.

They meet?

Frank and Catherine has humour, darkness, suspense, and a slight touch of insanity – all the things you want from a good drama.

This production is kindly supported by Kildare County Council Arts Service.
