Following the release of his album ‘By The Rule’ in 2014, Mick took a short break and began writing again in 2015. Basing himself between the counties of Cork & Clare, Mick was moved & motivated by current events around the world, specifically one tragic event in April 2015 that inspired the title track His latest album, I Own You, was released in October of last year, and has proved to be one of his finest to date. Cassiopeia Winds was formed in 2010; its performances are lively, exciting and very engaging. At its core is a quintet of players whose members are among the finest in the country, including players from the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, RTÉ Concert Orchestra and the Crash Ensemble.
